I plan on getting the turbosmart EBoost street. but for right now with just the wastegate (no boost controller at the moment). would you set the wastegate preload to max psi attainable with turbo A/R (both turbine side and compressor side) or min. When adding in the boost controller, what preload setting should be on the wastegate? 0 preload = 0psi, Min boost = 15psi, or Max boost = 25-28psi

hi i have an internal 5 to 20psi adjustable wastegate on a Td05 big 16g turbo ..my question is when the wastegate is fully open ,do i get max psi on this turbo? or when opens a litte? my stock talon tsi is set at 10psi but now im getting 5psi ..i fixed all the boost leaks and still 5psi ..thanks

Not all turbo Vehicles have Waste-gates. They are new.
